Summary

Ann Wenner learning to ride while pulling a plow under the watchful eye of Willie Cooper on the family farm in the early 1940s. Mr. Cooper later operated Coopers Tavern, a business that was made possible by Ann's father, Brunswick merchant and farm owner William B. Wenner.

Across Petersville Road, which was then a narrow dirt road, is the old Shafer farm that was razed to make way for MD Rt. 17 in 1964.

In the distance is the familiar slope of Rosemont Drive before many homes were built.
