Birth date: June 20, 1953 I was born in Brunswick on 6th Avenue, the second house above A Street. Which backed up to the home place. (see below) My mother's maiden name is Grams, hence my name Richard (Ric) Grams Campbell. My wife. Debra (Debbie) Jean Campbell, her maiden name is Harrison. I grew up at 509 A Street and she at 510 A Street. I literally married the girl across the street. We have been married 44 years. I have 3 children, twins Angela (Angie) and Jennifer (Jennie) and a son Charles (Chaz).
Some of my accomplishments as Mayor were; The Library on N Maple. Thanks to County Commissioners especially Galen Clagett. The Shopping Center. Thanks to the Town Council as we had to guarantee a loan for the developer to proceed. The Downtown Block Grant for improvements. Thanks to Leona Sauser and Governor Shaffer.
As you can see I did not accomplish anything by myself, I had great people stepping up, a lot more than those mentioned, to make Brunswick a better place.
