Howard L. Shewbridge was telegrapher at the Weverton Tower and had a special code with his brothers, who ran the towers in Brunswick, Harpers Ferry and Boyds.

Reuben Moss: The station stood around the area of the triangular section of road where people park on Keep Tryst Road. The track to the Washington County Branch needed realigned and most of the remnants of old trackside Weverton were removed to put in present day 340.
