Summary

A 1930 ad for Albaugh Chevrolet, a dealership which preceded Litten's Chevrolet-Oldsmobile at the 600 W. Potomac Street location. Litten's started out on E. Potomac Street, where the former Moose Club lodge is located today.

Look at those prices!

Here's a little local automotive history from "Brunswick: 100 Years of Memories" (1990):

The location on West Potomac Street currently occupied by King Pizza (when it was at 111 W. Potomac) was the site of the Albaugh Agency that sold Chevrolets and Oldsmobiles. Stull and Longbrake, in what became the Schnaffer garage, sold Hudsons in the 1920s. In the next decade (1930s), Litten Brothers bought the Albaugh Agency, moving to the west end of Potomac Street. For a short while they had a branch at the present Moose Club. Subsequent owners of the Litten Agency were Haley, and later Amatucci and Sawaski, who moved the business location to North Maple Avenue.
