Brunswick Sports: Brunswick High School Basketball Team 1990
The team jumped out to an impressive start knocking off some of the best teams in the county including Thomas Johnson, Frederick, and Middletown high schools.
Coach Dawson was very pleased with the team’s performance and overall attitude even though ineligibility had left him with only ten players. He credited them with having “a winning instinct that helped to pull them through some of their biggest games.”
About the team, co-captain Eric Coan remarked that “most of us got along very well on the court,” while Mark Kubat added “I think we had a good season. Everybody gave forth a lot of effort.”
