Briscoe Baldwin Bissett, 74, of 401 A Street died Saturday at the Veterans Administration Center in Martinsburg, WV.

He was the son of the late George W. and Margaret Ellen Dunn Bissett. He was the widower of Mrs. Iva Albert Bissett. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion Steadman Keenan Post of Brunswick, Loyal Order of Moose No. 1582, Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 1136 and a member of the Brunswick Lodge No. 191 A.F. & A.M.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Roach, Mrs. Helen Bisler, both of Brunswick, and Mrs. Nellie Middleton of Winter Haven, Fl.; three brothers, George F. Bissett, Andrew Bissett, both of Brunswick, and Charles Bissett of Winter Haven, Fl.

Funeral services were held at the Feete Funeral Home; burial was in the Park Heights Cemetery.
