“Teachers, to some they’re the enemy, while to others they’re great friends.”

FTA is made of up students who plan to go into education as a career. One of its goals is to inform other students about the issues facing not only their own education, but also the nation’s educational system. One of the projects done by the club was to make and display posters promoting American Education Week.

Mr. Booth taught FTA members how to develop lesson plans and how to fully explain a topic to all those in a classroom.

Although personally I never saw Frank’s lesson plans, I always admired his ability to reach out to all students in his class and engage them when he was teaching.

As always, it would be interesting to know how many FTA members that year went on to some aspect of education ;=)!
