Summary

The formal reopening of the Brunswick Pool on July 15, 1982. The Open House attracted 350 residents. Councilman Gary Barkman is shown here getting ready to dive off the high board fully clothed, as he vowed to do, if the project were to get completed.

Egging him on were Mayor Jess Orndorff, Councilmen Green, Barger, Will, Miglio and Nuse.

Phil Lowery: Is David Green holding the mayor or giving him a little shove. I can hear Wanda saying You guys go. I’ll stay down here to catch you.
