Summary
let's remember Brunswick's own Mr. Baseball Clyde V. (Red) Hawes. Mr. Hawes was not only known for his long time work as a player and coach, especially for the perennially successful BRLL Cubs and local adult teams dating back to the 1930s, he was also the letter carrier for the Knoxville postal district. Here he was delivering the mail in the late '60s. (From the Myer Kaplon photo collection at the Brunswick Community Library; Frederick County Public Libraries)
