A once overgrown lot filled with trash is now a beautiful community garden that is thriving. A nice place for gardeners who have no yard to plant their vegetables, flowers and herbs. It is amazing how much can be grown in such a small space. Another garden worth mentioning is the one started at Grace Episcopal Church. Growing up in Brunswick there were a lot of gardens. We would trade with neighbors who planted things we didn't. Even if you didn't have a large garden, you usually had some tomatoes and beans growing. It's nice riding around Brunswick and seeing backyard gardens again. Nothing like the taste of food straight from the garden.....Nancy
