Summary

Fire chief and later Mayor Stanley T Virts is on the far left of this group of men in front of the old fire house on Delaware Avenue. Can you identify anyone else?

The vehicle is believed to be a 1929 Chevy Pickup. The lettering on the door reads "Brunswick Volunteer Fire Co. Salvage Corps". Wade Watson explains further about the vehicle below.

Wade Watson: This is a Model A Ford but its not the pumper. This is a coupe and the pumper was a 2 ton truck. The lettering on the door says Brunswick vol fire co. Salvage corps. These units are long outdated. They carried tarps and shovels and lanterns to be used to help clean up and salvage homeowners belongings after the fire. I never knew we had such a thing here in Brunswick
