Summary
This photo may probably was taken from the 300 block of E. Potomac Street, sometime during the infamous 1936 St. Patrick's Day flood in Brunswick, March 17-19. See the locomotive through the cars under the water tanks. Note the coal tipple in the upper left.
The canal, railroad yards and lower part of town were submerged.
