This photo is from the 1989 BHS Yearbook and shows the players and coaches of the Senior Powder Puff Football Team. The Powder Puff football games were a flag / touch football games between girls from the Junior and Senior classes which was one of the activities conducted during Homecoming week. From the Yearbook "The Seniors crushed the Juniors 12-7 in a furious battle for the 1988-89 Powder Puff Title …. The team consisted of 11 tough Seniors …. The Seniors built a 12-0 lead going into the 4th quarter, forcing the Juniors to score late in the game." Apparently involuntary scoring was all part of the Homecoming spirit at Brunswick.
