Jacquelyn Ebersole: I did a little research and all of the homes in the 400 block of A street are listed as being built in 1900, also the last one in the 300 block. This is a copout of the state. I think they really didn't want to do the research to get the correct year so if you see 1900 you can be assured it was there in 1900, they just didnt go back and find out when.
Jean Virts Offutt Lagrave: I slid down that hill more than once in the winter time. Once you started to slide, you didn't stop until you got to the bottom The buses picked us up at the bottom.
