Summary
Brunswick Sports: Brunswick High School Girls Varsity Hockey 1983
As the season started with three losses, the aggressive play and intent to win brought home a victory against Frederick High. Six games later the team was competing in the District 1 playoff games where they defeated the Walkersville High team and ended up placing fourth in the District.
Although the team had a season of four wins and sixth losses, five of the six games were lost by one point. Three games were lost by one point after playing overtime and a double set of penalty strokes.
Award winners that year were: Most Defensive – Loni Williams Most Offensive – Michelle Jackson Best All Around – Barbara McAllister
