Summary
A promotional item from the Werntz Store on East Potomac Street that used to stand where the community garden is today. Introduced to Brunswick by the Kaplons, H.N. Werntz sold discount general merchandise to railroaders and their families (shoes, hats, work clothes, etc) , as well as groceries, which were available in the back of the building on 1st Avenue.
