Summary

Phil Lowery Phil Lowery: Phil Lowery was on the far left. What memories. Kent Carter built a ramp with wood and we all shoveled snow to cover the ramp with snow and pack down the snow with shovels to make a smooth ramp. We would make a sled train by hooking each others feet in the front of the person in back of the other. It was fun going airborne over the ramp and some sleds went all over the place. If someone didn’t have a sled we would have one get on ones back and double decker. The weight made the sleigh go flying down the hill. Occasionally we stopped in Harrington Shoe Shop to get warmed up before going back out. We would start around 8am in the morning and stay until 10 pm. We took a break to get something to eat.
