From Jon Evans:

This photo is from 2008 and shows student Jessica Howard who unfortunately passed away in 2007.

I had Jessica as a student and remember her as a quiet, well-mannered and respectful young lady who worked to maintain good grades. It is always sad when a young person passes away, especially when they were once a student in your classroom.

Jessica was not only loved by her peers but highly respected by her teachers as well. Being a genuinely good natured person, it was only natural for her to have a carrying attitude, wanting to help anytime she saw a need.

A teaching opportunity in the Nursery School and a member of the Future Community Leaders of America suited her perfectly – allowing her to do what she was born to do, help those in need.

I think Joyce Lenzo said it perfectly about Jessica – “She is truly missed by everyone whose life she touched.”

As any teacher will tell you, when a student who one had in class or saw walking in the halls pass always seems somehow incongruent to how life is suppose to be.
