Bill Eshbaugh: Great picture! Your Dad probably left right after the picture to head to the Lovettsville Game Club with the rest of the "Hep-Cats" aka The Free State Boys.

Judy Norris Gardner: That is where I went every Friday night. I turned 13 and he took me with him. I had to sit in the back of the stage all night, until I got a little older and he let me start dancing. Everyone in Brunswick were at the Game Club in Lovettsville VA. Love it, and Loved him and his band.

My Dad, George Merchant thought your Dad's band was the best. They were good friends and he was so sad when your Dad passed. My Dad is gone now too and they are sorely missed by their little girls.....Nancy Merchant Langley
