Summary
Kelley's Candy Kitchen - W. Potomac Street That's 's Vernon Kelley behind the counter of his candy store, which operated in downtown Brunswick from 1929-31. Beyond the lattice work were ice cream tables and chairs. Note the glass candy case on the left and the Coca Cola logo in the upper right corner along with a listing of ice cream flavors. Mr. Kelley sold ice cream on credit during the depression, but lost money and went out of business.
