Summary

Brunswick All Star pitcher Joey Himes being mobbed by his teammates after twirling a no-hitter in the District Tournament against the Frederick American League team in 1965. Joey struck out 17 of the 18 batters he faced over 6 innings. He had an assist on the only batted ball against him, a ground out.

Railroaders won it 16-0 and advanced to its 2nd straight District Title with a 5-3 win over Sykesville. The 1965 season ended in a 4-2 loss to Hagerstown in the State final. The team moved on to win its first state championship in 1966.
