Summary
When the U.S. Postal Service dedicated a new, then modern facility on Brunswick Street on October 11, 1958, the location of the post office had changed several times. The previous incarnations were located across from the YMCA, on the left side of the building that was the Potomac Shop & Hotel.
We believe the first post office when the town the town was known as Barry, was established in 1832.
