Doris Kelley Barker: The Goods ate at Mrs. Himes' restaurant across from the American Store almost every evening. Dad worked matinee, so some weeks, Mother and I ate there -- good food and Mrs.Himes was a lovely lady.

Ruth E. Kennedy: I had her as a sixth grade teacher. She was also the principal. She was so strict.
