Here's another view of the 1893 iron bridge from the Virginia side. You can see new homes popping up all over the hills that housed workers for the B&O railyards that opened in 1891. The photo likely dates to the early 20th century when the classification yards were expanded by the company. It was after 1907 because we see the then-new S.W. George & Co., which opened that year, at almost dead center of the photo.
