Summary

Opening day photo at Brunswick's E.W. Scheer Stadium in the Model T era. Can you guess the year? As the ballpark was developed by the B&O in 1928, there were likely railroad officials in the picture.

This photo is from the collection of Joanne Runkles, who noted Jacob H. Moore on the far right.

Scheer Stadium was located in the ravine where the BHS football and lacrosse fields are today. When the high school was built in 1963-64, the baseball field was moved up on the hill to the east of BHS, where it still resides today.
