Summary
For the 1988 Prom, Juniors Richie Marceron and Cindy Fisher were selected to be Co-Chairs that year. Unfortunately, later in the school year Richie past away. The BHS Yearbook had a whole page in loving memory of Richie which was written by fellow student and friend Jody Kerns - “The death of a friend is a hard blow to any person. To a teenager it is especially hard due to the tight bonds of high school students. Unfortunately, Richie Marceron, a friend to all in school died this past February…. Although his true love was baseball, Richie also participated in many out of school activities." "These activities included skateboarding and going to Punk Rock shows. The death of Richie was a shock too many and he will be missed by the students body as a whole.” Richie had been a student in my class and I always found him to be pleasant and laid back. He had his own unique style that was somewhat different than the typical “Brunswickian” but his difference was in a positive way.
