Summary
Blade-Times publisher James L. Bryan presents William W. Wenner with bound copies of the newspaper in 1962 for the Brunswick Public Library in its early days. Retired elementary school teacher and Distinguished Citizen Lavinia Hood looks on approvingly.
Future Judge Wenner and Miss Hood were charter Brunswick Public Library board members. The library was originally located in the old West End Elementary school on Brunswick Street where Miss Hood and her sister Georgia both taught.

Phil Lowery The Hood sisters were able to walk to work. They lived together on West Potomac Street next to the Potomac Furniture Store. They had some delicious apples in their back yard.
