Summary
This was the Silver Bit Riding Club in a Veterans Day Parade that might date back to the 1940s.
To help us date the photo, note signs for W. Potomac Street businesses such as Ideal Cleaners/Tailoring on the left side. On the right side of the street, we see a liquor store in the Harmon Building, the Maryland Dining Room (later Mrs. Himes restaurant) and a billiards parlor next to Potomac Edison.
