Summary

"This is the old WB Tower probably around 1910. The man in the center window is Clarence Daniel Shewbridge who was the telegrapher there for decades. He was one of four brothers who manned towers between Germantown and Harpers Ferry. Apparently they had their own code!

Norm Cornelius: The letter designation WB does not stand for west Brunswick. It is a Telegraph identification for that specific tower. QN Tower is located on the Metropolitan Branch coming from Washington DC westbound.
