Michael E. Mullen Dies in Brunswick – Retired General Foremen of Shops Had Been Long Ill; Funeral Tomorrow --- Michael Edward Mullen, retired general foremen of shops for the B&O Railroad at Brunswick, died Saturday at his residence 406 West Potomac Street after a lengthy illness, aged 70 years.
A son of the late John and Bridget Tierney Mullen, he was a devout Roman Catholic; a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus member at Piedmont, W.Va., and the Holy Name Society. He also belonged to B.P.O. Elks at Grafton, W.Va.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Stickley Mullen and these children, M.E. Mullen, Jr., Brunswick; William A. Mullen, Pittsburgh; Ricard P. Mullen, Lovettsville, Va.; Robert J. Mullen, at home; also a brother, John Mullen, Clarksburg, W.Va., and a sister, Miss Grace Mullen, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Francis' Church, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery; arrangements were by C.H. Feete and Bro., funeral directors.
